Greatest
Hits, the band's last album released on the Capricorn label, was released
in 1978. It has since gone on to Platinum status (one million sold).
While it is a fine album I think many fans would have preferred that the live,
and more popular versions, of Can't You See and 24 Hours at a Time would have
been included instead of the studio cuts. And why Take the Highway was not
included I have never understood. It is certainly one of the band's most
popular songs. I am glad, though, that the single version were not
included for ANY of the songs. I hope someday the powers that be repackage
the Greatest Hits and fix the flaws originally made by Capricorn, who was just
looking to make a buck when they knew Tucker was going to sign with another
record company...
