Released in 1998 on Pet Rock Records, a sub-label of King Biscuit Flower Hour, Can't You See is a live album recorded with "no overdubs or sonic enhancement" at Shooters in Toy's hometown of Spartanburg, South Carolina on May 8 & 9.
The members of the Toy Caldwell Band on the live cuts are; Tony Heatherly on bass, Pic Pickens on rhythm and slide guitar, Mark Burrell on drums and Kenny Smith on keyboards.
